Understanding Homelessness: De-escalating Fear– trauma and violence informed conflict prevention training.

In this workshop we explore the relationship between trauma, violence, mental illness and homelessness. We will look at triggers that create conflicts and the tactics and techniques to prevent conflicts from escalating. At this training, participants will get a better understanding the struggles of vulnerable communities and learn to resolve and prevent conflict with empathy. These lessons are good for anyone who works with vulnerable communities and want to eliminate the fear of confrontation.
This is a program that is useful for anyone who works with the homeless community. This workshop looks at the brain and how it deals with stress and conflict.
